Melanie is a seasoned business leader who has worked extensively in Europe and Asia and was, most recently, President EMEA of Newell Home Fragrance Division – famous for the Yankee Candle brand. In a thirty-year career, she has managed brands in the toy industry such as Fisher Price, and Barbie at both Mattel & Hasbro as well as a ten-year tenure running the Weight Watchers business across the UK, Europe & Asia.

Melanie has been working as an advisor to the Ideal Protein business since September and is excited to take the business through its next phase of growth by refocussing on the fundamental strengths and outcomes of the IP protocol through its healthcare provider network.

She is a mother of two (grown up) children, fanatical about her two dogs and has last year ran her first marathon (in her mid fifties!!) in New York.

Dr. Tran Tien Chanh is a co-founder of the Ideal Protein Protocol. He started his career as a general practitioner and sports physician, but quickly became interested in nutrition and obesity-related issues. Having concluded that weight loss was essential for treating illnesses such as hypertension and dyslipidemia, Dr. Tran was a driving force in the development of the Ideal Protein Protocol.

An award-winning graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in Paris, Dr. Tran has published several books on diet and weight loss, lectures on weight loss across North America, and is a member of Ideal Protein’s Executive Medical Advisory Board.

 

A registered pharmacist for more than 30 years Mr. Ciell joined Ideal Protein's start-up team in 2006 and helped launch the company.  In addition to this establishing role, Mr. Ciell serves as both the Senior Science Advisor and Director of the Scientific Support Center for Ideal Protein. Offering online support services for Ideal Protein Clinic Partners, the Scientific Support Center specializes in addressing Patient or Client technical issues.

 

Dr. Douglis is an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist (ENT) and is currently board-certified in both otolaryngology and sleep medicine. Dr. Douglis has offered the Ideal Protein Protocol in his practice since 2008.

Cheryl is a transformational leader with a relentless focus on delivering results.  She has over 30 years of experience and in health, wellness, retail, fashion, consumer & pharmaceutical products.  Cheryl is a creative brand strategist with a unique ability to identify disruptive brand platforms that gain traction and drive engagement. 

Most recently, Cheryl served as Chief Marketing Officer for two major retailers in the apparel and home décor arena.  Notably, she was head of Marketing for Weight Watchers North America for 8 years, where she oversaw the digital transformation of the business and completely reinvented the brand to drive relevance, acquisition and retention.

Prior to Weight Watchers, Cheryl spent 6 years at Johnson & Johnson, where she built a highly successful Consumer Marketing capability for the company’s Women’s Heath Rx Franchise.

Cheryl began her career in advertising at DDB, where she ran the global J&J business, and provided leadership for a number of the Agency’s marquis clients during her tenure.

She is currently consulting full time for Ideal Protein and loving every minute of it.

Cheryl lives in NYC with her 13-year-old daughter.

Dr. Dolores Zumbado has been involved with Ideal Protein for over 10 years.  She is known for her leadership and passion in our movement to make a meaningful impact on the Obesity Epidemic.  She is a National Business Advisor for Ideal Protein and provides educational and training support for over 350 clinics in the Southeast Region of the US.  As an owner of Dr. Zumbado’s Lifestyle Community, since 2008, Dolores leads one of the most experienced Ideal Protein coaching staff in the Washington DC area; helping thousands of clients achieve their weight loss and weight management goals.  “Dr. Z” as she often called, is a doctor of Chiropractic, holds an undergraduate degree in Nutrition, and has owned multiple successful businesses for over 30 years.

 

Deb Buchanan has been with Ideal Protein since 2009. She has successfully supported 100+ clinics as an RDC and now as a National Business Advisor for South Central and part of the Midwest where she helps support 22 RDCs and 642 clinics. 

Deb has been a business leader in the medical industry for 20+ years.  She is a Dale Carnegie-trained coach.  She is a passionate speaker and dedicated to Ideal Protein’s mission of making an impact on the obesity epidemic through education and inspiration.

Deena Ebbert is Propellergirl – putting a new spin on interaction to motivate winning workplaces.

Mary Mook has been with Ideal Protein since 2010, and through her career, she is responsible for starting and growing the largest clinic in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Like many colleagues, she began as a dieter and immediately saw the impact that this program could have on her community. She has been working to combat obesity ever since.

Mary sold her clinic in 2016 and has devoted her full-time efforts to RDC work, focusing on growing the region that she serves. She is passionate about education and holds a master’s degree in Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mary is married to the most heroic human on planet Earth. She and her husband, Jack, own Jack's Boxing Gym, and have five children between them. In her spare time, she focuses on maintaining her Faith and her sanity.

Deirdre Pizzoferrato is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist, Obesity Researcher and the author of “The Very Hungry Cave Boy: Our Modern-Day Challenge with Kids and Their Brains”.  A passionate advocate for the prevention of childhood obesity, Deirdre spent much of her 20-year career dedicated to spreading awareness and practical solutions through the development of products, programs and services under the Nutrition Nanny® brand.

In 2014, Deirdre returned to the adult population after a life-changing discovery: Ideal Protein.  “This is so much more than just weight loss - it is generational transformation. Every mother, father and caregiver who walk through our doors are eager to change the learned and often ‘inherited’ eating habits and behaviors now crippling their health and lives. What they bring home is education and application that is not only realized by them – but by the entire family. That is how we effect change in the next generation.”  Deirdre is a Clinic Success Manager and works with select clinics in the New England Region.
